Ousteri Lake, Pondicherry
This lake harbours several thousand water birds, many of which belong to rare and endangered category in the Redlist of IUCN. It has been recognized as Important Bird Areas (IBA) site by BNHS. The Asian Wetland Bureau (AWB) and IUCN have acknowledged Ousteri Lake as one of the important wetlands of Asia for waterfowl diversity.Tuesday, July 04, 2006
Pondicherry
I love the last one! It was unintentional, the cam couldn't focus properly on the rising waves and in turn the pic came wth a blurred background. But it looks like a pablo version to me wherein the watercolours merge with each other at the boundaries!!!
