Biologists are not trained to think; they're (rather, we’re) trained to work hard. Not trained to be scientists, but trained to be technicians.

Very often, intelligent, bright, genius people who can think of new creative ideas are doomed because they are not “hard-workers”, and are not data-generating machines.

Well, time flies by…the student becomes a scientist, a supervisor. Such a person, however, cannot be a good scientist or supervisor at all.

Ya completely agree with you......The so called training programme for the students leave them all worked up with hardly any time to think and put them in action.......
