What does it mean?

"An inevitable logical course because constructivism was the alternative emerged opposing and replacing both the old positivist and neo-positivist approaches based on realism and determinism of quasi-laws adapted from physical sciences."

Though sentences never convey much in these classes, words when taken separately were meaningful. Now even that is becoming an uphill task.

Positivism makes me depressed, realism makes me yawn and determinism makes me confused...Every week, for these three hours, I feel utterly, completely hopeless.

just do it next time. i swear you will be spared of the trouble to sit thru it next time..

btw y r u wasting time alu, you could at least write the protocol for your exp in these godforsaken classes!! ;=)

as for this post, i wish it was abt French wine and not abt microbiology emerging from physics (whatever!! who want to know yaar)!! poor you

all the best for all thts more to come..

@ Jahnavi: When are you updating your blog? BTW, why is it password protected???

@ bm: It does! Big time! Technically, he's not asking me to attend, though he should be really happy in a steadily dwindling attendance to his lectures...Anyway, I may do an assignment for that...Whatever he says and does in the class, one aspect is becoming more and more interesting...The rise of logic and reason after Newton put forward his theory and how people differentiated science from non-science.

I am definitely gonna write abt the French adventure...very soon. Maybe I should write a daywise account. So that it becomes easy to read as well as write.

"Inevitable and logical"? Hmmm. I bet it's not.

@ laughingwolf: I may leave the course...The last class was worse!

@ Jahnavi: Ignorance is bliss! So...you remain happy :) but just so you know, I know!

@ Matt: HAHA :) Yeah I bt it's not too. The worse is he speaks about sciences as if he is an expert but blurts out completely illogical statements...like Microbiology was employing the same principles as Physics and how the former emerged from the latter! It's mind-boggling when he talks of social sciences and atrocious when speaks on sciences.

if that one's not essential, do find a more sensible class to take...

@ laughingwolf: I don't have to...enough credits already...no it's not essential at all!
