Schaller's talk reinforced my idea that conservation and ecology should never happen without taking into consideration the destitutes of that area...that conservation practice which doesn't consider the local people is always going to fail one way or the other.

Thats true bcz "Scientific and humanistic approaches are not comptitive but supportive and both are ultimately necessary"
